Jeff attended five events in Dallas and Ellis Counties on May 7th and 8th. On May 7th, he attended a function sponsored by the Texas Public Policy Foundation; the day then included a meeting with Dallas-area Libertarians. The next day, he met with Ellis County journalists, and later attended a meeting of students of Objectivism, followed by a meeting of individuals seeking more information about the Trade Center attacks. The Ellis County Observer ran a piece on the visit with two pictures.

He addressed the Bexar County LP on May 20th about his campaign for Governor. Libertarians from both Bexar and Travis counties attended. The reception was highly positive, with contributions of funds and pledges of volunteer work received.
