Is it too early to contribute, or to volunteer for a staff position? The two tax-subsidized parties are already raising money and recruiting staffers for the 2010 campaign. Indeed, the Houston Chronicle on June 8th, 2008 reported that two U. S. Senators had already been recruited by the Republican Party to begin raising funds for the 2010 Congressional races.

Not sure how much to give? Your donation of $100 will buy a 30-second cable TV spot in Texas' largest market. $400 will buy such a spot on a higher-rated cable network. $775 will buy that much time on the highest-rated network in that market. $1,070 will buy a thousand small yard signs.
