As you read on the Home Page, the SMU Libertarian organization has voted, unanimously, to endorse me for the gubernatorial nomination. I am most grateful for that support.
As you recall, others present for the debate were also positive in their response to my presentations. Some of their comments are repeated here: [Click 'Read More']
I want to welcome Crystal "Pru" Reardon, our new Campaign Coordinator for Brazos County.
She has much to offer the campaign, and I think our showing in Brazos County will be significantly enhanced as a result of the work she will do.

This morning I was a guest on "Latino Talk Radio". Unfortunately, the host resorted to the old trick of claiming that the Libertarian call for repeal of lifestyle crimes meant that we think it's "OK" (his word) for individuals to use drugs such as heroin and cocaine.
I had expected better of this individual, and I was sorry to see that I was wrong. Nonetheless, I was able to point out how many thousands of crimes of violence and theft go unsolved in Texas, with so much of our law-enforcement effort devoted to lifestyle crimes, and to note that organized crime and terrorist organizations are benefiting from anti-drug laws, so I am glad I had the chance to be on the show.
For Texas and Liberty,
Jeff Daiell

"As far as I can tell, this race is between Republican Debra Medina, Democrat Bill White, and Libertarian Jeff Daiell. Voting for anyone else would be a waste and an affront to liberty and reason."

Those are pretty strong words, and much appreciated!
The radio campaign still needs more contributions. Rates we've seen so far range from $35 to $320. You can help by utilizing the "Donate" page on this website, or via postal mail to this address:
